Yesterday evening I have played a little bit with K2 and the K2 plugins. I like K2 it is a nice and powerfully component for Joomla!, but the commenting system don't work if javascript is switched off. Some people know I have build a commenting system named RDBS Comment and this system is focused on accessibility. Second focus was to build a system that can handle comments for different application, so what could be a better test as to integrate RDBS Comments in K2. It was quite simple and managing it in svn, writing documentation and this blog Post, takes more time as developing the plugin. Try it, and if you like it or if you hate it, give me a response here in the comments.
You need to install the component and you need to install the k2-plugin.
Update instructions: Please deinstall "RDBS Comment" Component and the "RDBS Comment" content plugin

Maybe it's an idea to make an "auto close" function in the software. On news sites it isn't nesceaseary that people can comment on items that are older than an X ammount of day's s.

Hi Rovert
I had installed your component and plug in without any error. Comment box is showing in K2 article.
After submit of comment I have received message "Your IP address was blocked by webmaster"
But as per my knowledge there is no blocking of my IP address.
All settings are in default state.
If you can help to point out my mistake, i will be thankful to you.

which version have you checked with? i am using v2.2 of K2. Will this be fixed? And will we see a facebook/etc. login coming to the extention?
