... hier schreibe ich über Dinge, die mich freudig stimmen, über schönes, aber auch über das was mich nervt und aufregt, ich fordere hier Gerechtigkeit für alle bin aber nicht gerecht zu jedem, ich bin hemmungslos parteiisch und schwer von einer anderen Meinung zu überzeugen und oft bestimmt auch ratlos aber nicht sprachlos. Nur damit keiner sagen kann er hätte es nicht gewusst.

Announcement RDBS Comment

Today I'll announce a new Joomla! extension named RDBS Comment. It is not very difficult to guess right what the extension should do. Maybe you ask yourself why an other commenting extension for Joomla! There are some good reasons for developing a new commenting system:

  • Most of the commenting extensions are work only, if you have javascript enabled. That's a real problem, if you create an accessible website.
  • Spam protection works with captcha and this is on an accessible also a problem.
  • I've started programming a commenting system two years ago and I hate not finished projects.

State of deployment

We are at the moment in our late beta test stage and we will finish the tests at the end of this month. So the date for the availability for the RC1 of RDBS Comment is the 1 August 2009.

So the next feature plans are mostly ideas and not fixed.

* Documentation for supporting other extensions

* Version for 1.6

The extensions will be always GPL and free of charge
